Tibetan ritual offering cakes - a beautiful form of art.

Tibetans found butter to be an ideal material for sculpting and made exquisite carvings of flowers, fruits, jewels, and auspicious symbols.

These however are made in the west by a Danish nun who brings her own artistic skills to daily buddhist practices which make use of many variations of these “Tormas” as they are called in Tibetan
